Award Winning Entrepreneur to Present at EntreFest! 2010
Jake Kerber of KerberTech, last year's EntreFest! market research grant winner, will explain in detail the market research process and the benefits delivered to KerberTech regarding new web application, Maintenance Book.
Ankeny, IA – February 22, 2010 – KerberTech president, Jake Kerber, will speak about his market research experience regarding the web-based application, Maintenance Book, at this year's EntreFest! Conference held on February 25-26 at the West Des Moines Marriott in West Des Moines, Iowa.
EntreFest! is an annual small business and entrepreneurship winter conference held in Iowa. Strategic Marketing Services (SMS) is one of the event's main sponsors. SMS is a market research firm affiliated with the University of Northern Iowa and based in Cedar Falls. They have awarded a $10,000 market research grant to one EntreFest! attendee each year since it began in 2008. Consideration for the research grant is based on a new business idea or innovation and how market research could benefit them.
Jake Kerber, president of Kerber Technology Solutions, LLC (KerberTech), won the grant in 2009. The grant was awarded to Kerber and KerberTech to research the feasibility and pricing aspects of a potential web-based maintenance management application for businesses. The research results were positive and the new application, KerberTech's Maintenance Book, will be released in the near future at www.KerberTech.com.
Kerber will be a part of the ceremony announcing the grant winner for 2010 on Friday, the 26th. He will present on the market research process, what he learned, and how KerberTech has benefited from it.
